Hi guys, i had applied my relatives visitors visa and its been a week and today the status changed from gathering information to assesment in process. Sl
Just want to know how far normallY its taking to approve visitors visa from this assessment status. Thanks

Assessment in progress basically means a case officer has been allocated.

I recently applied for a friend's visitor Visa and it took almost 45 calendar days to come through. Hope this helps.

The duration varies from case to case.
I will share my experience, however. I have applied 3 visitor visas in the last year. It has taken between 3 to 12 calendar days.
Please note that this is not a benchmark. It may take longer
