Here's the previous two months worth of processing. Everything older than September 2024 is now allocated for processing (and there's only a handful of September 2024 applications still unallocated), and everything older than February 2024 has been decided.
The other noteworthy takeaway is a significant drop in applications received in April 2025, compared with both March 2025 and April 2024. This could well be due to the Covid border closure. Need to see how many applications are lodged this month and next month to be able to say for sure, but it is 5 years since the pandemic started.

You reckon they removed automated checks? The March 2025 suddenly have less fast approvals unlike Feb 2025.
If anything, that could be an indication of an automated check being added! We've seen before that they can move older applications into the "fast approval" bucket, and if they are, then the older ones will be finalized before the newer ones.
The other thing to consider would be the April public holidays coming one after each other this year.
Huge progress? They are now processing Feb 2025 applications?
Possibly? I got an email today asking me to confirm details of people I would want at my ceremony - which I initially thought was an approval. My family of 4 applied separately on 6th March 2025. So, we each need to reply to this email with the reference numbers of the other three people, confirming that we want our ceremony together. Also, I got an email asking if my basic personal details were correct, and to notify them if we decided to travel within 12 months.
I don't know if this means we are close, or just getting started :-)
About the travel plans - I put our holiday plans in the in the applications, but I suppose it's best to ring them up and confirm our dates now!
I'd read it as success, but I bet it's hard to believe it after all this long time, so I'd do a confirming/questioning phone call, as you suggest!![]()
