    Default Citizenship application with PSO

I am going to apply for citizenship, however I was recently issued with a Police Safety Order. Luckily, no Protection Order or court was involved. Has anyone experienced this situation and is there anything that I should be concerned about?

You will find information in the Citizenship Guidance Document. https://www.dia.govt.nz/Citizenship-Guidance-Document See page 11 onwards. I'm suggesting you read this for yourself, as you're the one who knows what the incident was that started this, and exactly what you were told by the police.

    Thank you!
I wish to engage an adviser to support my application - in this case could I approach a LIA?

I really don't know. I've only ever heard of LIAs helping with immigration visas, which you must have in your past, as you're near to the citizenship phase. You could ask an LIA, and they will tell you if they can cover the case. If not, you could consult a solicitor, or, in the first instance, the NZ Citizens' Advice Bureau. https://www.cab.org.nz/
