I am green with envy - Auckland has a Next clothing store!!

They say they will eventually come to Christchurch but not for a while!!

It has, and apparently it now does kiddy clothes too , not been to that mall for ages though, think its more along the lines of the Next clearance stores.

Maybe I should have a visit and report back....

Well in the interests of research (and nothing better to do) I went for a wander round DressSmart mall at Onehunga.

They have done quite a bit of work on it since I last went, and its beginning to look like the kind of outlet mall you get in the UK, but on a smaller scale.

There is a Next. Its 90% womens clothes, very few mens or kids stuff. Not the biggest shop in the world, but quite a few different items in there.

Managed to spend $20 in Pumpkin Patch though for a nice little jacket & trousers for the boy .

The DressSmart 'mall' here is appalling, I felt like I was in Tooting market on a bad day.

Yep, Dressmart here in Hornby is dire too. It's like those cheap clearance malls springing up all over the UK countryside and ruining the views

Who needs Next when there's Kathmandu?!
