I'm sure i saw another thread on BBQs where the owner of his UK BBQ (fed from big butane bottle via flexi tube) tried to buy a new regulator and bottle in NZ and was told by the gas retailer that all NZ BBQs have to have a rigid pipe- not flexi- to comply with gas regs. He was warning us not to bother shipping BBQs to NZ.

Having said that i have also seen NZ campers (on rental company photos) with gas bottles and flexi pipes to the burner/grill. Mmmmm

Maybe there are some plumbers on here who may know?
