    Default Wooden chopping boards etc

OK - this must qualify as my most boring posting yet but maybe somebody out there could help me.

We have alot of wooden chopping boards and those bench top wooden boards from Ikea which I would be lost without. Are there any special rules about cleaning them before they get shipped over?

I would presume they were all treated when they were manufactured but I just need to know if they need extra 'stuff' putting on them before they get shipped out.

I will be scrubbing them with an antibacterial solution - will this be enough?

See .... I told you it was boring.

    Default Chopping Boards

    Hi Diny :cool

No worries about chopping boards and such. The only wood products you have to declare are wicker and rattan. And as long as those are normal furniture, no worries there either. The MAF are really pretty good and reasonable folks.

Thanks for that Rich, I like my chopping blocks and would be sorry if I had to leave them here and then start off with a new lot the other end.

I also have a Lloyd Loom chair (wicker) which I'm very fond of - glad I can take that too.

If the guys from MAF wish to inspect it - then so be it. They're only doing their job

    Diny
