    Talking Furniture/Homewares Shopping in NZ

Woohoo, I have discovered Farmers, what a fab shop, they have online catalogues, but you have to go into the store to buy, but it gives a great idea on prices http://www.farmers.co.nz/specials-ftc1249.html

I've also discovered mitre 10, www.mitre10.co.nz, I thought they were a bit pricey.

    Happy shopping everyone

Mitre 10 is like B&Q your typical hardware store. Great though for all the necessities of DIY Cheaper option are all the builders merchants around, just have to look for them. Although Mitre10 is a great starting point.

Have a look also at www.freedom.co.nz , quite pricey but does some really lovely furniture and accessories. This is of course if you haven't already discovered it

Also Bunnings are a DIY store, similar to Mitre 10 but they seem to be a bit cheaper, and Placemakers, but I think they are the most expensive. LOVE Farmers
