Interview, Salary & Places to Live in Auckland
On Thursday I made my 1st Application for a job!!!!. I was gob smacked when I turned up for work the next day they invited me for a phone interview (especially after reading some of the comments on here that it can take weeks for them to get back to you).
My interview is tomorrow for a Project Manager job in Auckland. Fingers Crossed I'll get it!!!!!!
Has anyone got any tips for the interview???
I'm going to think positively .... so can anyone give me an idea of what salary I should be looking for and what are good places to live in Auckland, which you can get to be walking / public transport??
Already have all the paperwork ready (except Police & Medical Check). How long does it take to complete a police & medical check. When I resubmit EOI how long will it take to get PR (Job offer will give me 150 points, so should be automatically pulled from the pool) Like alot of you here I was in the unlucky group that had 100 points on the day that they changed the rules.
Any help is appriciated.

Just found a salary survey for Auckland (worldwide survey but the NZ stuff only seems to be for Auckland)

What would you say is the min salary needed for 2 people to have a good standard of living in Auckland? (Need to rent house, food, bills etc)..

See what they offer first, looking at some jobs advertised I think if you say that you've had a look at jobs advertised and you thought eg: 90k. Ask if the job comes with any benefits ie; Medical,Car, phone,Petrol allowance, Bonuses, holidays, sick leave etc.
They average Salary looks between 80-110K for Civil
What type of project Manager? Is it Building,Construction,Engineering,Civil etc.
Civil Construction Project Managment- $65,000 to $85,000 Salary + Vehicle
Civil Project Manager – 80-110k
Excellent small consultancy – specialising in project management of infrastructure projects.Fantastic projects, Possible profit share in the longterm. Intermittent bonuses, Year end bonus,
Opportunity to work with other ‘elite’ project managers
