Am wondering if anyone can suggest some I may not have thought of before.

Not all specifically IT but depending on your role there may be openings because everyone uses IT to an extent now.

I used an agency called Duncan & Ryan, they helped me secure a job and I'm still in the UK.
I start my new job on 21st August (software QA analyst)

I checked out all of the sites in the prior post and here is what I found:
www.worksite.govt.nz - This site looks like a resource rather than a listing of specific job postings
www.nzjobs.co.nz - This site redirects you to seek.co.nz
www.newkiwis.co.nz- This site will not let you register unless you indicate that you are physically in NZ already
nz.hudson.com - This site has a lot of interesting postings (at least for me - I'm looking for a Senior Analyst or Project Manager role)
www.workingin.com- This site is very easy to navigate. I did not see anything of interest for myself, but I like the site.
www.pohlenkean.co.nz - I like that this one is separated by executive, support and contracting roles. However, there are not that many listings at this time.
www.kiwicareers.govt.nz - This is a very interesting site as it details the skills and responsibilities for various job titles. You can also read about the current labor market and various industries. This is a useful resource.
www.crown.co.nz - This site seems useful. However, the little trail of crowns hanging under my cursor really annoyed me so I left the site.
www.nzjoblink.com - I cannot get to this URL for some reason
career.co.nz - I do not like the search function on this one; you have to enter a keyword to get any results. I gave up.
www.seek.co.nz - The obvious choice . . .
insuredjobs.com - When I typed in this URL, I got a message that the service has been suspended (I guess they forgot to pay their ISP!).
www.nzjobs.co.nz - This site has merged with seek.co.nz
www.jobs.co.nz - This site is unavailable until July 2006

We've been to most of these sites, and applied to quite a few jobs. No good news yet, 1 posting was taken by "another applicant", but all in all, quite a few jobs in the IT sector worth looking at!

Found this recruitment agency site from uk2nz. www.sabrenz.co.uk do not know what it is like though.
