    Default Walking Boots

These do appear expensive in NZ, or is it just me $400 for a decent pair.

They seemed alot cheaper in the UK

Depends on the boots rabbit - you can pay thru the nose here as well, i don't really posess an expensive pair, but my hi-tec ones have never let me down, waterproof, reasonably light (can't have the heavier ones they hurt my dodgy knee) and only £25 in our cash and carry!

This link may not be much use to you Rabbit (sorry) but dependant on what you want, their quality is excellent for the price you pay.

And they have a sale on at the moment too.....

We have just bought a pair of the fell boots each. Lightweight and very comfortable.

Well you can get cheap trainers etc from warehouse etc, but I just did a search
    http://www.google.co.nz/search?clien...=Google+Search

and the first on the list R&R had some salomon which I have a pair...from TKMax, cost me £19 and ok they would have been last seasons, but so what.

R&R have them for $259 = £89, so I would buy in the UK, but....just don't wear them in the UK.

Take them in your case....declare them, say you bought them a while back, but have only worn them around town...not been in any woods or fells.

THIS IS WHAT I DID,.....I said that....stuck my foot out, and showed him them, all clean and new, and he wasnt bothered, they didnt even want to check the pair that was in the case..Robs.

And even the shoes that were in my Boxes...I said they had all been washed, on a hot wash, no mud....MAF didnt want to check them.

happy shopping....and I put the link up, so you can see for yourself what is available.
