New graduate dietitians can expect earn around $50,000 a year. Experienced senior dietitians can expect to earn over $95,000.
This occupation has recently been removed from New Zealand’s long term skills shortage list as there are currently not enough jobs for NZ graduating dietitians.
Dietitians must be registered with the New Zealand Dietitians Board and must hold a current practising certificate.
